Overview

Are you our Inside Sales Representative with a great commercial drive, excellent communicational skills and interest in Internet technology and IT? We are SDL Tridion, a global leading provider of advanced enterprise web content management software.

Roles and Responsibilities

The main objective of Inside Sales is to drive opportunities needed to meet sales targets, hence developing opportunities further along the sales cycle into the pipeline. Focus should be on both qualification and nurturing of incoming requests (management and development of a suspect set), and also outbound calling and follow-up on targeted audiences in specific campaigns.

The Inside Sales representative is responsible for achieving personal opportunity-based targets through the use of various qualification methodologies. Targets consist of number of accepted prospects handed over to field sales.

 The role will be supported with development opportunities, training and on the job coaching as part of a clear roadmap. Also well defined marketing campaigns and lead generating tools (website) will enhance the successfulness of the role.

 Located within the regional sales team for close co-operation, the Inside Sales reports into Sales Development. It is at the core of the SDL Tridion business with growth opportunities both in marketing and field sales.

Result areas:
Response Qualification

- Qualifying the opportunity of incoming requests and responses
- Pursuing/exploring weekly web hits and sales leads 
- Prioritising and planning/diarising prospecting calls
- Ensuring follow-up by passing lead through CRM with all designated calls-to-action, follow-up dates, complete profile information, lead source, etc.
- Maintaining CRM system, recording contacts, call activity, sales opportunities and prospect records

  Suspect / Prospect nurturing

- Qualified long-term opportunities will be nurtured by various means ranging from follow up calling, to events invitations, sending material etc.
- Converting “pre-qualified” sales leads into a prospective pipeline and confirmed meetings
- Disseminate fully qualified opportunities to appropriate Sales Representative
- Update the CRM system

 Outbound Calling

- Execute and / or contribute to outbound campaigns aimed at new business
- Cold call into target accounts generated by purchased, highly targeted lists, or follow up on email blasts, trade shows, corporate events
- Penetrate “targeted” accounts, possibly within a vertical market structure
- Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present SDL Tridion solutions to begin sales cycle

Skills, Experience and Personality

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in prospecting into Fortune 1000 companies, leading to strong capabilities and skills including account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control and time and territory management
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills
  • Affinity with ICT, preferably web related software
  • Accountable for results and willing to achieve
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage different tasks
  • Proactive and creative
  • Sales training a plus
